Awarded Highly Commended in the 2023 Queensland Regional Art Awards, receiving the Annie Tan Memorial Watercolour Award, this piece was created in response to the theme Perspective. The composition invites quiet reflection: depending on where we stand, we may see ourselves as the observer or the observed, the moment of control or the moment of surrender.
